Yes, it’s been three weeks since I’ve made a playlist. BUT, don’t worry, this week’s has 30 tracks so I’m making up for it! I say no more…just listen.
I had the absolute pleasure of sharing some of my favorite music on The Justin Wayne Show this past Monday, June 29th. The show streams live online every Monday from 1-3pm Mountain Standard Time and is available in Podcast form by the Wednesday after. The Justin Wayne Show is the ultimate supporter of independent musicians and is run by Justin Wayne in Bozeman, MT and Claire Rozario in London who sift through tons of artists’ submissions every week. It’s “music’s independent spirit.”
Not only did I get to share some of my current favorite music, I also developed a taste for many of the artists they shared on the show that day!

I’ve gathered together my favorite two tracks from the last 10 weeks of playlists! Have a listen and Happy Sunday!
Oh, and if you like that bar in the photo there, let me know because I’m selling it!
I’ve neglected some of my favorite music sources including All Songs Considered, Sound Opinions, Soundcloud, new friends (for example, I’d never heard of Andy Shauf until I did my interview with In HØck…click on these bold words and you can read it) and the Hype Machine. Now that I am back to reality, I’ve been catching up on all of these sources and my musical mind has been absolutely blown. I have nothing more to say but the summary below of what has graced my ears over the last couple of weeks post spring break. Music will never cease to amaze, entertain and shape me. I love that.
Sometimes I just have to take a step back and reflect on how gosh darn fortunate I am to have some of the greatest friends in the entire world. This playlist is for all of my new friends, old friends, current friends, friends I haven’t made yet, friends who don’t even know they’re my friend but they are, friends who I unfortunately don’t keep in touch with as well as I want, friends….friends, friends, FRIENDS! I adore you all and a lot of you either directly recommended a song on this playlist, wrote a song on this playlist (that’s you, Mr. Leimer!), or somehow inspired me to add it to this playlist. And, hold onto your hats because this is a wild one…
Thank you to you all!
