Get drunk on Colourwaves’ new single, “Night Boat”

Ryan Dodson of Sydney, Australia is the man behind Colourwaves and the origin of the musical genre, “drowse-pop.” The project began in 2011 and has been blossoming ever since, earning recognition by Triple J and PBS and support from musicians like Willow Beats and HTRK.

Earlier this year, Dodson released the first single, “Archons” off of his upcoming EP. Just last week, he released a newer single titled “Night Boat.” The track gently seeps into your ears, drenched with synths and drum machines. The intoxicating sounds of “Night Boat” seem to call to you from a dream, somewhere distant.

Stay tuned as the Colourwaves’ newest EP is due out this April.
