A tease from Quilt: new single, “Roller”

Neo-psychedelic folk band, Quilt announced the release of their third full length, Plaza, back in November which is due out February 26th on Mexican Summer. Prior to release they’ve shared two singles, “Eliot St.” and now “Roller.” Whereas “Eliot St.” is more like most of Quilt’s music, “Roller” is no doubt, on the poppier and more upbeat side. In fact, “Roller” was one of the last track written for Plaza. According to the song’s vocalist, Anna Fox Rochinski, the song’s namesake, “roller”, describes:

“a sensation that lies somewhere between claiming strength for yourself but also hiding to protect yourself from the human bullsh*t of the world. Ultimately, it’s a rumination on seeking peace through isolation.”

Upon the release of the album, the group has an extensive spring tour planned.
