Blues, folk, a smokey voice that’ll hang in the air around your ears for hours, this is “Resurrection Day” by Luke Redfield.
With four LPs under his belt and a nomadic reputation, Luke Redfield has stories to tell through his music. The Minneapolis Star Tribune calls Redfield’s life, “A modern twist on the troubadour traditions of Woody Guthrie and Jack Kerouac.” Redfield has shared the stage with acts such as Gregory Alan Isakov, Marissa Nadler and others and features the likes of Andrew Bird and Bon Iver on his studio recordings.
The upcoming EP that features the above track is titled Uncover the Magic. It is out for your listening pleasure October 23rd but can be pre-ordered here on iTunes.
