Striking music video for “The Gold Standard” by Marrow

I could not have personally imagined anything more perfect than the stark, vivid, and violently beautiful depiction of “The Gold Standard” created by Jake Saner.

A story of what seems like love and intense dependency results in flight, desperation and explosive emotion. This all unfolds before your eyes with flickering images of oceans, intruding thoughts drowning in apartment bathtubs, and short bursts followed by sustained scenes of cathartic choreography performed by Ashley Robicheaux and Travis Albano. This is a stunning piece of visual art to accompany an already expressive song.

Additionally, Marrow announced fall tour dates:

Tue. Nov. 3 – Portland, ME @ One Longfellow Square
Thu. Nov. 5 – Boston, MA @ Café 939

Sun. Nov. 8 – Washington, DC @ DC9
Mon. Nov. 9 – Philadelphia, PA @ MilkBoy
Fri. Nov. 27 – Chicago, IL @ Lincoln Hall (RECORD RELEASE SHOW)
