Home again, home again, jiggity….

Back home in Bozeman post-Thanksgiving. Not the funnest driving conditions but I had an interview on ‘All Songs Considered’ with Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens) and interview with Robert Plant (formerly of Led Zeppelin) on ‘Sound Opinions’ to keep me company. Yusuf Islam (…formerly Cat Stevens) now 66, changed his name to Yusuf Islam back in the late ’70s when he converted to Islam. Yusuf released his most recent album October 27th of this year called, ‘Tell ‘Em I’m Gone.’ Robert Plant just released his newest album, ‘Lullaby and the Ceaseless Roar’, earlier this year as well. Plant’s is excellent but I have yet to listen to all of Yusuf’s. I was so fortunate enough to inherit my aunt’s record collection and she was an avid lover of Cat Stevens. I only have ‘Izitso’ from 1977 and the classic ‘Tea for the Tillerman.’ I have to say, I couldn’t make it through, ‘Izitso.’ It was a little too experimental. ‘Tea for the Tillerman’ needs to introduction, though. The song I attached today is my favorite song off of Robert Plant’s new album and I can’t seem to play it enough. Who doesn’t need a rainbow in the depths of winter? Click on Yusuf for the ‘All Songs Considered’ interview and on Robert Plant for the ‘Sound Opinions’ interview!
